Victoria Guerra’s journey reflects her commitment to learning and adaptability. Hailing from San Diego, specifically the city of San Marcos in north county, she pursued higher education and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University San Marcos.

Victoria initially ventured into the real estate industry, gaining five years of valuable experience. However, her path took a new direction when she transitioned to the mortgage industry three years ago. Her tenure at Modern Lending began with a role as a Loan Analyst, which allowed her to explore the intricacies of mortgages.

It was in this role that Victoria discovered her passion for the mortgage field. She has since found her niche in the closing department, where she collaborates closely with Escrow Officers, Underwriters, and Loan Officers to ensure client needs are met and to facilitate smooth loan closures and fundings. Her dedication to learning and adapting to the ever-changing mortgage industry has been a driving force behind her success.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys reading and takes pleasure in trips to the beach, as well as embarking on adventures in Mexico. Her ultimate goal is to explore every state in Mexico, allowing her to learn about the regional differences in culture throughout the country. One of her notable achievements is opening a food truck with her mom in 2022, inspired by a restaurant from her hometown in Guerrero, Mexico, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and connection to her heritage.
